Aurembiaix was the name of the last Countess of Urgell who lived in the 12th century, and it also means ‘golden bias' in latin. It is the name given to the project born from the synergy between Flor Violeta Sobrequés and Chloe Campbell driven by their complicity found through antique dressmaking. Both are self taught in fashion which is why this project is so close to their hearts.
All their pieces are designed, patterned, cut and handcrafted to order in our atelier. This makes it possible to adjust the fit of the pieces if required. They mainly source fabrics from local markets and deadstock shops. For this reason, many of their pieces are limited, or can vary in fabrics.
For the knitted garments they work with a local artisan tricot maker in Barcelona and all the yarn is sourced from natural fibers deadstock.
