Japanese label kolor crafts sophisticated ready-to-wear with a defined focus on texture, detail, and construction. The Tokyo-based brand was founded in 2004 by esteemed designer Junichi Abe, who graduated from Bunka Fashion College before going on to work as a patternmaker for Yohji Yamamoto and Comme des Garçons. Pulling influences from sportswear, militaria, and menswear archetypes, the label is known for its original reconstructions of classic silhouettes: bomber jackets with one-sided spread collars or knit crew necks with overlapping, mismatched hems. With its inventive take on practical styles, kolor offers an everyday wardrobe that always manages to challenge convention.
December orders can be returned until January 10. Don’t hesitate to ask if you need help :)
